Germany, third time's a charm? Lets hope so. This blog is a representation of my struggles, adventures, rejections, and prosperities in this challenging country. I've explored, studied, and loved in Germany. Now it's time to work! Come following me and my dog (Ruby) through the trials and tribulations of being foreigners looking for employment, a work visa, and a little excitement in Berlin.
About Me
Growing up as the youngest of five children, the baby girl to four older brothers, definitely shaped me as an individual. I like to thank my four older brothers for always challenging me, battling against me, and teaching me the many facts of life, that eventually molded me into a strong, independent, adventurous woman. Their struggles, experiences, and life lessons were examples for me to follow and reject as learning tools for myself. I grew up in beautiful Huntington Beach, California with a passion for travel and culture. Any opportunity I get to travel, live abroad, or learn about other cultures, I take it, but I always question myself for leaving my home sweet home. With every departure there is a sense nostalgia and sadness, and with every arrival, I feel like I am right back where I started. I guess that's why I have the need to constantly explore and progress in a new direction. I need to leave the familiar and discover new things that eventually creates new memories and builds new relationships. With these new experiences, I later come to realize and appreciate the beauty of what I originally left behind.
